Jabba 4th in Nationals!

Jabba have come fourth in the Irish Mixed Nationals Tournament beating out Last Minute Dropout and Galway. Dave posted a great writeup of the games on the forum.
The next tourny on the horizon is Windmill Windup. Should be a good one!

Friendly against Binge!

There's a friendly against Captain Drinking Binge tonight in Albert College Park (beside DCU) in preparation for Natioals in a weeks time. Bring a light and a dark top, boots but most importantly beer! There'll also be training on beforehand, after which a brief foray to Mairead's to relax before the match. Should be an awesome day.

Winter League and Training

Winter League round 4 against DIT and Trinity 1 is coming up this Wednesday, so stick your name down on the forum if you're interested in playing.

Also, we'll be back training the Friday in Albert College Park around 2pm. Nationals aren't too far away a this stage, so let's see a good turn out this week.

Jabba beat UCD!

Last night was a good night for Jabba in the UCD Winter League. In the cold and the rain, Jabba was up against DIT and UCD1. After a hard fought game, which saw Jabba come back from a 4 - 0 defect, the match ended 6 - 5 in favor of DIT.

The second game saw Jabba, still fired up from the last match, kick off with a bang. After trading points back and forth for an hour, the final score was 9 - 11 to Jabba! This puts us up to 5th in the league. One amazing night of ultimate.

Newcastle Results

Jabba's just back from Newcastle after an amazing tourny and an even more amazing party. The two Jabba teams came 5th (and won the plate) and 8th out of 10. Not bad for a weekend's work I think. Check out the full report on the forum.
